DesignHub Creates Website for Program for Automotive Labor and Education (PALE)

SALINE, MI – DesignHub, Inc. (http://www.design-hub.com), a creative services and marketing firm based in Saline, MI, has designed and developed the new website for the Program for Automotive Labor and Education (PALE; http://pale.cargroup.org).

PALE is a program of the Center for Automotive Research (CAR; http://www.cargroup.org) of Ann Arbor, MI. The program brings together leaders from the automotive industry, educational and training institutions, organized labor, workforce and economic development organizations, and government with the goal of sustaining and improving the quality of the automotive workforce in North America’s automotive manufacturing and engineering center.

The program is made possible by support from the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation and the Mid-Michigan Innovation Team/U.S. Department of Labor Workforce Innovation for Regional Economic Development (WIRED) initiative.

PALE’s new website describes the benefits of program membership, and identifies the more than 50 organizations now participating. These include automotive manufacturers and suppliers, colleges and universities, and affiliated organizations. A password-protected area of the site enables PALE’s members and staff to share exclusive information.

All visitors to the site can download a copy of PALE’s recent research study, “Beyond the Big Leave: The Future of U.S. Automotive Human Resources,” as a PDF file. Another highlight of the site is a continually updated news section reporting the latest developments and issues in automotive human resources. Profiles of PALE staff are also featured.
